Cordillera Day 2010: Advancing the Politics of Change

Some 5,000 delegates from the Cordillera provinces, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley regions  and Metro Manila attended the 26th celebration of the Cordillera Day. This year’s celebration, held in Baguio City  last April 25, also served as miting de avance of the Katribu Partylist-Northern Luzon. Makabayan senatorial bets Satur Ocampo  and Liza Maza joined the celebration. Both wore traditional Igorot dresses given them by the Cordillera elders. Also in attendance were Aetas of Central Luzon who earlier, in April 24, held a caravan around Angeles City in Pampanga before proceeding to the miting de Avance of Katribu Partylist-Central Luzon.
