Makabayan senatoriables Satur Ocampo, Liza Maza, and progressive partylists Bayan Muna, Anakpawis, Gabriela, Kabataan, Act Teachers' Partylist and Katribu ended the national elections campaign with a 300 vehicle caravan around Quezon City.
Makabayan's caravan for politics of change assembled 12 noon of May 8 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle. They were joined by the Nacionalista Party's convoy later on.
Communities along Batasan-Litex road warmly welcomed Ka Satur and the Makabayan caravan. People went out of their homes and into the streets waving their Ka Satur and Liza Maza plastic streamers while chanting "Satur Ocampo sa Senado!". Many raised clench fists. There are also those who chanted "Palaban, Makabayan!" to show their support. Browse photo story album by Karl Ramirez
