Today at the historic Plaza Miranda in Manila City, a bas sculpture of labor leader and freedom fighter Rep. Crispin "Ka Bel" Beltran was unveiled by the city government led by Mayor Alfredo Lim. Family, relatives and friends of Ka Bel were present along with progressive lawmakers Rep. Satur Ocampo and Rep. Liza Maza, union members and leaders of Kilusang Mayo Uno, relatives of the 43 illegally detained health workers, and Sen. Chiz Escudero. Browse the photo album here
