To esteemed Brother Chairman Al Haj Murad Ebrahim and the entire
leadership and membership of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF),
we in the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) convey
our sincerest condolences on the passing away of MILF Vice-Chairman
Aleem Abdulaziz Mimbantas.

We join you in giving due honor to his persistent leadership role
since the 1970s in the longstanding and ongoing just struggle of the
Bangsamoro people for self-determination. It is just and fitting that
in accordance with his last wishes he has been laid to rest near the
grave of his close comrade-in-arms and the beloved Founder of the Moro
Islamic Liberation Front, Brother Salamat Hashim.

We take this occasion to reiterate our firm stand of recognizing and
supporting the inalienable and fundamental right of the Bangsamoro
people to self-determination.
