**AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BENIGNO AQUINO III**

Dear Mr. President,My humble greeting of a Blessed Day!

I read about the recent declaration of the NDFP Negotiating Panelexpressing

their readiness to release the four BJMP personnel, one ofwhom is my son,

Inspector Murphy B. Todyog, taken in Quezon, Bukidnonon July 21, 2011.

However, the said declaration would be useless if military operationscontinue

in the area.

With this development, I am pleading with you as theCommander-in-Chief

of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for aSuspension of Offensive Military

Operation (SOMO) to ensure the safeand orderly release of the captives. I hope

for your immediate andfavorable action for the resolution of this problem that we

have beenpainfully bearing for 70 days now. We have also repeatedly appealed

tothe NPA and NDFP to do their part in the Cease and Desist issue.

Your preferential consideration to the fate of these four publicservants who are in

uncertain conditions to this day will be immenselyappreciated.

Respectfully yours,

ANN B. TODYOG
