Hacienda Luisita massacre: An outstanding issue of the people on Noynoy Aquino

I'm a teacher of Filipino history here in the states [at the high school level] and have used Kodao docs in the past in my curriculum. I would love to show this to my students, but need an english subtitled version for my Fil-Am youth who have been kept from their mother tongue.thank you

Hi.  Thanks for viewing.  Our video posits an answer to Sen Aquino's premise that Luisita should not be an election issue.  We believe otherwise.  We have been covering the Luisita issue even before the massacre in 2004.  The video was not personal but entirely political.  It also was not intended to suggest that Villar is an ideal candidate.  Kodao does not have a presidential bet.  We do not want our hands tied in case we intend to produce more such videos questioning the policies and programs of the next president on various social issues--whoever wins the May 10 elections.

On a personal note, I have known Ka Satur and Liza Maza for twenty years already.  I share their advocacy for genuine agrarian reform and social justice.  My high regard for their unblemished record as legislators is unaffected by their being guest candidates of one Party.  In fact, it is high time that their brand of progressive politics is injected into traditional politics.  I believe they do the influencing, rather than being influenced by traditional politicians. I will vote for them.  Sana, ikaw din.

Those who are saying that this is a black propaganda against Noynoy are misleading the public, political arrogants and downplaying the real essence of Luisita folks' struggle. They (Noynoy and his gang) are nothing but political apologists of the Noynoy camp, they are feudal aristocrats who are anti-genuine land reform, anti-farmer and anti-people. Let this video as an instrument of truth and justice reaches the people and the public.

Napakaganda nito.  pero meron kayang merong english subtitles?  or narration in english? ipapalabas ko sana sa klase ko pero tagalog 1 lang ang isa kong klase sa uc berkeley.  puwede itong ipalabas.  last year, sa isang video.  gumawa naman ng sentences ang mga bata.  heto ang examples:  1.  matapang ang mga magsasaka.  2. umiyak ang mga magsasaka.  3.  binaril ang magsasaka.  pero simple sentences only.  so pakiusap ko lang, pakilagyan naman ng subtitles.
