Hospital workers call for release of the Morong 43

The Alliance of Health Workers condemned the illegal detention of
two fellow health workers included in the 43 illegally arrested and
detained last February 6 by the 2nd Infantry Division of the Philippine
Army and the Philippine National Police in Morong, Rizal.
Gary Liberal and Lydia Obera are both active members of AHW. Liberal is the head nurse of the Operating Room Department at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila and the local health workers union president. Obera, well known as Mama Del to her co-health workers is a full-time staff of AHW and has been assisting in several medical missions and health trainings for 20 years.
