National Artist Bienvenido Lumbera calls for Ericson Acosta's immediate release

National Artist for Literature Bienvenido Lumbera, as president of the Philippine chapter of Poets, Essayists and Novelists (PEN) Inc., calls for the immediate release of his young colleague, the poet and essayist Ericson Acosta. Acosta was illegally arrested and tortured by elements of the Philippine Army while conducting human rights research work in Samar, Philippines.
