Satur Ocampo and Liza Maza: Makabayan Senatorial Candidates

Nationalist representatives Satur C Ocampo and Lisa L Maza
announce they will run as independent candidates for the Senate in the
Philippines' 2010 national elections in this press conference held in
24 November 2009.
The candidates clarified they withdrew their names for inclusion in the Nacionalista Party's slate saying they could not in conscience be in the same group as the moribund Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, the political party of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos.
Both Ocampo and Maza were victims of Martial Law and have since struggled for justice for the victims of the Marcos Regime.
