Training on Digital Campaigns

Kodao Productions, in cooperation with the Computer Professionals Union, organized a digital training workshop for people’s organizations in Quezon City last April 25 to 26.

The workshop aimed to introduce to various non-government and sectoral organizations information technology tools for the advancement of their campaigns and advocacies. Participants included representatives from the women, workers, peasants, teachers, public sector workers and youth and students. The participants discussed and learned about the ever-widening and deepening reach of internet social networking and other websites which they could utilize to inform and help enlighten their intended publics about their campaigns and advocacies.

It has been an inspring first attempt that augurs well for the people’s movement being armed with a potent weapon for social transformation.
